Michael Mazzei joined Northeast Editing, Inc., in 2013, after a five-year stint as an editor at a distance-learning company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and communications from the University of Scranton, where he was an editor of the campus literary magazine, Esprit. He also interned at the Times Leader newspaper in Wilkes-Barre.
As a content developer/editor at Northeast Editing, Michael has been involved with various projects, including writing and editing educational reference materials. Having developed a passion for writing at an early age, he feels fortunate to be working at Northeast Editing. “As a kid, I always had a pen in my hand,” said Michael. “And now, I write for a living.”
Michael stays busy when he’s not at work. He spent several years editing a crime novel, which was published in 2014. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, playing the guitar, and building his ever-expanding music collection. He can also be found trying his luck at the poker table.
