Elizabeth Mohn began working at Northeast Editing, Inc., in 2007 after graduating from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Elizabeth started working as an editorial assistant and was given the opportunity to hone her writing and editing skills. She became an editor in 2008, and two years later she became a project manager. She now uses the many skills she has learned during her years in educational publishing to create and edit educational content.
During her time at Northeast Editing, Elizabeth has worked in various roles on many different projects. A skilled assessment writer, Elizabeth has authored numerous items and passages aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). She has also authored library reference entries and other fiction and nonfiction works. She has written, edited, and managed projects for clients including McGraw-Hill, Discovery Education, RALLY! Education, American Institutes for Research, and Northwest Evaluation Association.
“Writing has been a passion of mine for many years,” Elizabeth said, “and being able to write educational content for a living has been a wonderful experience.”
At home, Elizabeth also enjoys writing and reading, but she is happiest spending time with her young daughter, her husband, and her dog. She and her family enjoy going for walks, going to the park, and traveling to visit family members and friends.
